ello, my name is Simon Paul Young, and here is a little bit about myself:
I am a 29 year old electrician from Sydney, Australia. A mad keen surfer. (that means very enthusiastic for any non surfing, non Australians) I also enjoy sailing, skiing, rugby and all sports in general.
I am married to a lovely Spanish girl whom I met while traveling in Europe. She is now also a Scientologist. We currently live and work in Sydney, Australia.
I have always been a big fan of the science fiction genre and so, not surprisingly, a fellow science fiction fan recommended to me L. Ron Hubbards astounding, ten volume, Mission Earth series. A fantastic read! Having completed that, and all the other science fiction books I could find by L. Ron Hubbard, I began reading Dianetics: The Modern Science of Mental Health. One of L. Ron Hubbards non fiction books. I was at first interested, then amazed, then finally astounded by what I read. I could now see clearly the reasons for my own, and indeed others, negative emotions and reactions. The changes I, and others, noticed in myself were fast and dramatic. I had a lot more energy and zest for life. I had the confront and ability to talk to anyone about any subject. I looked and felt healthier and even cuts and scratches to my body would heal noticeably faster.
I have been a Scientologist for 8 years now and in that time I have gained the courage to travel the world. To surf mountainous seas and to sail in gail force winds. I have since become happily married and my wife and I are now the owners of our own company. But still one of the most rewarding things in life, for me, is to let others know that there are solutions to the age old problems and that, above all, there is HOPE.
In the introduction to the book Dianetics: The Modern Science of Mental Health, L. Ron Hubbard closes by saying, You are beginning an adventure. Treat it as an adventure. And may you never be the same again.
That was his wish and it came true for me. I now wish that for
you.
