ello, my name is Richard Burnell, and here is a little bit about myself:

     Before I became interested in Scientology I was having some problems in my life. I was not surviving very well. So I was looking for someone or some information that would help me sort things out and improve things for me.

      I had tried a lot of different things only to find that they didn’t make much difference.

      So when I obtained my first Scientology book, I didn’t know if it had any answers or not, but I just read it with the idea that it may have information I would be able to use in my life.

      That book was called “ Dianetics, the Modern Science of Mental Health” and gave me a lot of data that I’d not seen or heard of anywhere else - this was all new to me. I knew that if the information in the book was correct (and I soon after found out that it was) it would make the information that I’d previously read on psychology and all other information in the whole subject of psychology completely obsolete.

      This was quite amazing and a little difficult to understand, because I didn’t understand why this data was in existence but it wasn’t being used by the people who were telling everyone that they knew how the mind worked and that they knew why people were experiencing emotional stress and problems, when in fact they had no idea how the mind worked or what its effect was on the individual.

      That was back in 1974 and since then I have continued to study and apply the data contained in Scientology books and courses

      Probably my only failure has been to not tell other people that there are answers to problems in people’s lives, answers that work. That is why I have made this information available to you now.

      Prior to 1974 I was stumbling along and not doing well in life. Now, I’ve got things under control. I have my own small business, that is expanding. I almost own my own home and my family is doing well. My only concern now is that people out there in society are having a rough time and it is all unnecessary. There are evil people out there in governments etc. whose main purpose is to mess up people’s lives. Let me give you one example, why is it that a person can spend ten to twelve years in school and come out the other end and not be able to read? The fact is, a student can learn to read properly in just a few weeks, so someone high up in the school system must be trying really hard to prevent students from learning how to read successfully.

     The truth is there are answers and something can be done about it.
