ello, my name is Maria Di Liegro, and here is a little bit about myself:

     I grew up in Boston but have also lived in Manhattan; Miami and Clearwater, Florida; and Hollywood, CA. I love to travel, and so far count five European countries and fifteen Caribbean/Bahamian islands to my travel list, as well as forty of the fifty United States. I'm a died-in-the-wool city girl who loves what most people love about the city -- art, music, restaurants, film, etc. I have a number of friends who are musicians, and I like hearing them play at their gigs when I can.

     I've been a Scientologist since 1981. I learned about Scientology through someone I had befriended at work. She really seemed to be "with it", and had a good understanding of people and why they do the things they do. So I admired that and wanted to have the same understanding myself. That's when I started on my courses in the Church of Scientology. It's been the best thing I've ever done!

     I am the executive director of Narconon of New England, a drug education and prevention center. This is very rewarding work, and I'm happy to do all I can to ensure people know the truth about drugs and what it does to not only the body, but the mind as well.
