Communication. From my first experience in Scientology, it started to improve tremendously. My first counselling opened up a whole new world to me of people and things I could communicate with. Previously, I was very shy and withdrawn and afraid to talk to most people. It changed almost immediately and continued to change and stated to open up doors into new experiences. I would never have thought I could write, for instance, but soon my universe opened up and I could evoke images and view concepts I never could before. I could write poetry, I could express myself, I could see and put things together in my mind I never could before. Because my communication improved, I could do things I never could before. Give me a job, any job. I felt I could do it. I could express myself, I could see and put things together in my mind I never could before.

     I became much more confident and more creative in life. I was considered smart in school but the way I learned in Catholic school was by memorizing everything. I did my first course in Scientology and Dianetics and I was completely blown away because, using the study technology of L. Ron Hubbard, I felt I totally understood the materials. I had secretly always felt stupid and, for the first time in my life, felt I could understand and study anything.

     Scientology helped me to be a good mother and raise a son I am very proud of. I applied the data from Dianetics and Scientology and raised a smart, sane, drug-free and creative son. I count my blessings for him. I have a deeper understanding of myself and other people and the mutual suffering of the world. I feel confident that we could all do better and erase the pain and suffering and problems of people in the world.
