ello, my name is Janis Ihrig, and here is a little bit about myself:

     I live in a beautiful house in California city in the Mojave Desert, right next to a golf course and a park with a lake. My husband, Glen and I are working in Glendale right now and go to our home only on weekends.

     Glen manages a Tech department in a computer business. He likes to program. I used to do bookkeeping in the same business but am phasing out my job there while I build up two home-based businesses. One has to do with health products. The other has to do with an auto club which helps people know what sort of cars are safe and mechanically better.

     We have a cat named Tasha. We take her back and forth to Cal City every week. She tries to hide from us when get ready to come back to Glendale as she really likes the roominess of the house and we live in a small duplex in Glendale. She does seem to enjoy riding in the car once she gets in it though.

     We hope to grow some nutritious food in Cal City. We have learned some things about water and have invested in a good water system which will enhance the plants ability to ward off parasites. We will be doing some tests with it to determine how effective it is in that area.

     Glen likes to program and enjoys his works for the Tech Department. He is also working on one for our business. We love computers and have three plus two “Palm Pilots.” These are small-hand held computers that allow us to type in addresses, memos, things to do, etc.

     We work with my sister, Joyce, and her husband, Carl, in our business having to do with health products. Carl is the main person receiving calls and helping people understand about our products. I do a lot of mailings. Joyce works with both of us and helps to organize us and Glen keeps our computer systems functioning.
