ello, my name is Eugenio Andres, and here is a little bit about myself:
I am a 37 year old computer programmer and consultant and live in Madrid, Spain.
I came to know Scientology some 15 years ago and life has become better and better since.
It happened like this: One day, in the center of Madrid someone asked me if I wanted to take a personality test. I did. She did not have to tell me that I was really shy and needed a communication course. I really did need it! I was out of friends and my life really seemed like a trap, closed on all sides.
At that time I was going to leave my girlfriend and was contemplating giving up my career, going away from my parents home ... and things looked really gloomy.
But things started to turn around. I started to learn how to handle life, how to handle my study, and how to get out of the traps I had gotten myself into in life.
My life turned around at that point: I continued my career while at the same time starting to do some translations of computer materials that allowed me to buy plenty of computers, books, programs and courses, while still doing well at the university.
Near the end of my engineering studies at the university, and through another students sister, I had a work interview with one of the biggest European computer companies. After talking to me they were so eager to get me and made me such a good and interesting offer, that I decided to go for it, even though I somehow still had to finish the last bits of college. (Basically, they gave me no choice. It was like - You start on Monday!).
And life went on from there.
I did lots of Scientology courses, I started several companies, I did a lot of interesting work, I fell in love and shortly afterwards I married.
My greatest pride is my beautiful 7 year old daughter, that I love dearly. She loves to play with me, comes to me from time to time to say she loves me, give me a kiss on the cheek, and make me feel life is just beautiful. Shes got her own computer and is really good at it.
I currently work mostly as a consultant from my home office, full of computers, printers, and all that stuff that I somehow consider mostly toys. Sometimes I have the idea that someone will find out that I am enjoying this way too much to be considered work and make me be a serious person. But I do my job, usually twice as fast as others and frequently I do jobs others just dropped because they could not do it.
Life has somehow become much more fun, much lighter, much more easy to live and more enjoyable.
And, well thats it for now. I have lots of plans for the future: I want to have more kids. I want to have a big computer company one of these days, and I want to help other people I like in their lives, so as to somehow give back part of what I have gotten through
Scientology.
